My New Job Announcement

Yesterday was my 741st and final day as a Britannica employee. Of all the data I've reported on, this is definitely the most bittersweet. I'm leaving behind an ambitious team at a historic, innovating, and truth-championing company, that I have nothing but nice words—a whole Merriam-Webster Inc. dictionary worth!—for.

Still, my quest for knowledge continues: I am overjoyed and grateful to be joining Kantar's Client Leadership team! Starting March 1, I'll be an Associate working for their Insights division.

I often say that of all of the different “hats” I've worn so far in my career, my favorite is the one I put on when learning about people. Thus far, that has been accomplished through conducting surveys and analyzing web traffic and consumer data to tell a story. Now, I'll be able to more exclusively focus my efforts on this underlying quest of mine.

I've wanted to work in market research for a long time now, and so this career move feels like I'm being welcomed by "my people." So I'll keep this brief (the self-celebration will carry on, though) and conclude by saying that I truly can't wait to get started, and I'm looking forward to soaking up every ounce of information I'll learn on day one and beyond!

Update: I was promoted to Senior Associate, starting July 1, 2021.
