COMMUNICATIONS + MARKETING INTERN

I made sure to make the very most of my time here—so much so, in fact, that I was sometimes mistaken as a "real," long-term staff member by outside collaborators and internal employees alike. Which is not completely surprising, considering my quick adaptability and dedication to the organization, as well as my involvement with many major initiatives and events. I learned everything I possibly could about the organization, their programs and corporate/government partners, the non-profit space and tech/creative industries, and the entire city of DC itself, in order to create a truly lasting impression. My most impactful accomplishment was the establishment of new "entrepreuner toolkits"—industry-specific resources in which I contributed thorough research, copy, interview pull-quotes, and some design direction.
